Cognitive Exchange enables students to communicate effectively and share their ideas with the world.

the beginning:

our founder

Satyaprit Das was born on August 17, 1996 in Jefferson City, Missouri to his loving parents and older brother. His name means “the Love of Truth”, and that remained a driving force for him throughout his life.

His interests ranged far and wide, but found his passion in the fast paced world of speech and debate. Using his knowledge from almost 4 years of participating in tournaments around the world, Satyaprit started Cognitive Exchange with a small group of close friends. His goal was simple but audacious, bring the power of democratic thought through communication and speech to the parts of our world that need it most. He traveled to India, the starting point of Cognitive Exchange, to lay the infrastructure to allow students from America to coach and teach individuals from around the world to participate in debate and learn valuable communication skills.

“Be strong. You never know who you are inspiring.”

Satyaprit Das
